2. What types of locations fit into LaptopXchange™ site criteria?
LaptopXchange™ stores are generally 1200 to 2000 square feet; however, smaller or larger stores are an option. They are usually located in neighborhood and community strip centers, power centers, and near major trade areas and universities. The optimal location is strong anchored strip center in a densely populated area, with ease of entrance and exit, and is highly visible and located near numerous traffic generators with significant traffic counts.

3. Are there any continuing or ongoing fees after I pay the initial franchise fee?
Yes. You pay an ongoing royalty fee of 5% of weekly sales. An additional advertising expense of .05 of weekly sales may be required to be paid into the LaptopXchange™ National Advertising Fund.

4. How much money can I make from LaptopXchange™?
Since the actual results of individual franchised stores are based on factors that are not within the control of LaptopXchange™ Franchising, LLC, we do not provide estimates of profits or revenues. However, after consulting with a LaptopXchange™ Franchise Developer and reviewing the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), you will have the opportunity to contact our existing franchisees regarding their experiences.

5. Is experience in running a small business required?
While small business experience is helpful, it is not required. You will receive step-by-step training at the LaptopXchange™ Home Office and experience actual training within an operating retail store. You will learn all the important aspects of operating your new business. You also receive hands-on training behind the LaptopXchange™ counter, on the sales floor, and in the techroom. During training, you will receive and learn how to use the LaptopXchange™ library of manuals.

6. Do I have to run the store?
Yes. We strongly encourage our franchisees to be owner operators. The most successful stores are those operated by the owner(s).

7. How much training do I receive?
Two weeks of in-store training in Las Vegas, Nevada and 2 days at the store opening.

8. Can I open multiple stores?
Yes. We will allow up to 3 franchise agreements at one time, but must meet certain operational, financial and management qualifications before being awarded those development areas.

9. What are the hours of operation?
Store hours may vary, but most of our stores are open Monday thru Friday 10am-6pm, Saturdays 10am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm.
